It’s called “Machinations,” and it’s a slow-building but tense story about the smuggler Kaau li. Montana and Solaris met her in Wizard’s Flight, and her story is so intriguing that I couldn’t help but publish some of it. If you like Kaau li and want more stories about her, let me know! If enough people want one, maybe I can write a longer story about her.
